Presses & Crushers
If you are making juice from fruit then you will need a fruit press.
The 2 main fruits associated with fruit presses are apple and grapes. Therefore fruit presses can been called an apple press, cider press, grape press or Wine Press.
If you are making fruit wines, then there will be a need for a press, which will help you squeeze out the juices making your wines even fruitier.
We have various sizes of fruit press to choose from. Small ones for soft fruit if you are just needing enough for a gallon demi-john. Or big ones for juicing harder fruit like apples, great if your are making lots of juice.
If you are making cider, you will also need a fruit crusher - also called a scratter - these rip hard fruits into shreds so turns the fruit to a pulp. When put in a fruit press, this pulp makes it much easier to extract the juice.

You will have the fermenter foaming all over the floor and walls but you will have the real quality that you want .
Made fruit wines of all types for years and on some as a hobby , had a go last year base level wine kit and so so ,a bit sweet ok if you only want to get well oiled . But this added to a kit is wow for a nearly sixty year old wine drinker just try adding half the bottle to your next 30 bottle kit you will never go back.
Very good works a treat.makes the wine look professional and attractive to the coinesseur.
I made my first ever wine, blackberry wine using this bag after following David on his Youtube video, great product, less mess and easy to use. Thank you David for your help and support with my order.
Easy kit to brew. Pleasant, very refreshing apple flavour ideal for lazy summer days in the sun. Very impressed and intend to try others in this range.👍
Brilliant wine, easy to make and tastes superb.
Have made this Grapefruit IPA as one of my regular brews, always enjoy it's refreshing and citrusy taste for a change. Best to use liquid malt extract in place of sugar for best results. Have 40 pints brewing now !
Young's Cellar 7 Pino Grigio is very simple to make and never goes wrong if you follow the instructions and have the right equipment. It only takes about a week to ferment and, if you let it mature for about a month or so, it tastes better than the average supermarket wine. Brewbitz are a great supplier with a personal touch and fast delivery
I have using this product for many years and never had a failure
Arrived quickly and as described
I used this product to clear three brews: 1 gallon of Cyser, 1 gallon of elderberry melomel and 1 gallon of metheglin. All 3 were crystal clear within 24 hours. I will certainly use it again.
Wonderful wine..used to pick my own fruit in the hedgerows for years…..no more have tried most of the different wines and they are all fantastic!

I buy this wine regularly and get a very reliable service from the team at Brewbitz
I'd decided to make a port-style wine, so I was looking for a yeast with good tolerances for both sugar and alcohol (since I would be feeding the fermenting must with sugar to reach as near to 20% alcohol as I could) - and this one fits the bill.
This strain also offers the possibility of producing a higher level of glycerol, which won't go amiss.
After a month and three additions of sugar it's still bubbling away.
This is the first time I've used oak chips, but these came at a good price and were delivered swiftly
