Grapefruit beer?  Yep it sure works.  Lots of hops give a hint of the tropical taste of pink grapefruit, so why not enhance this IPA beer that bit further. 

With the extra zing from the citrus, Mangrove Jacks Pink Grapefruit IPA is uberly refreshing and will have you downing those 40 pints in no time at all!

This beer kit might look cheap, but it's ingenious pouch design saves on packaging. Inside the pouch is separated into two compartments. 1 holds the malt extract and the other the instructions and any other dry ingredients.

This beer kit makes 40 pints of Mangrove Jacks Pink Grapefruit IPA. This creates a beer that has a little tart sourness to the beer for that extra zing making this beer very refreshing.

This Mangrove Jacks Pink Grapefruit IPA beer kit with the beer enhancer will create an ABV of approx 5.7%.

This kit will also require one of the following:
a - 1kg of Brewing Sugar (supermarket sugar will work, but it will cause the finished lager to be sweet)
Or
b - 1kg of Beer Enhancer.  A mixture of brewing sugar and light spraymalt.  This will give the finished beer a good body and mouth feel.
Or
c - 1.2kg of Liquid Malt Extract.  This will give the best finished beer with a smooth body, full flavour and good head retention.
Or
d - Use a different flavour of Liquid Malt Extract to further enhance your beer kit and enable you to create your own unique beers.

You will also need basic brewing equipment such as: a 23 litre bucket; syphon; steriliser; thermometer & hydrometer to brew this ingredient kit.  If you do not have any equipment we have a starter package with all the equipment you will need to make this beer.  We also have bottles and barrels for you to store your beer once it has been made.
