Introducing Grand Howl Tropical IPA No Boil All Grain Beer Ingredient Kit. A full bodied hazy East coast style craft beer with lots of tropical hop aromas including mango, pineapple and citrus on a gently bitter base. 

Grand Howl Tropical IPA comes with the ingredients you need to make 2 or 5 gallons of our No Boil Tropical IPA from grain. 

The term Grand Howl comes from Scouting - Cubs actually. Cubs used to be called Wolf Cubs and at the beginning of every meeting, the cubs crouch down like a frog and the leader says "Cubs do your best", to which the cubs jump up and shout, "We will do our best" in a Grand Howl. Then the fun can begin. 

The Look - is yellow orange in colour, a good haze with a foamy cream head.

The Aroma - is of mango, pineapple and citrus all on top of a very lightly malty base that has lots of body.

The Taste - is smooth, with a creamy body.  A nice sweetness and a little bitterness. You can taste the fruits.  The light bitterness that gets the mouth watering and making you want to go back for another sip.

Alcohol - This All Grain Beer Kit will brew to approx. 5.5% ABV

We have 2 versions of this kit, a 2 gallon kit designed for on the hob brew in the bag method that with basic equipment everyone can make and a 5 gallon kit that needs a few more specialist pieces of equipment.

This all grain beer kit Includes malts, hops and yeast. The only extra thing you'll need is water. This great beer is easy to make up and you'll be making another one as soon as you've tasted it!

We decided to challenge the reasons for boiling beer, just because it has always been done that way does not make it right.  Have a read of our blog post of our very first no boil beer experiment and why we think the boil is no longer needed in the beer making process.

Using malts from Warminster Malting who use traditional floor malting methods, this all grain beer kit is a little different to those you have probably made before.

If you have an all in one beer machine (e.g. a Grain Father) then you can use that, but the 2 gallon (9 litre) kit, we have designed it to be a 'Brew In the Bag' beer kit, so that anyone with some very basic brewing equipment and a stove can brew it.

This all grain beer kit does not need to have the wort boiled, so is fast to make, which means it does not create a lot of steam and saves on electric, but still creates an amazingly tasty beer.
