Muntons Connoisseurs Traditional Bitter - 40 Pint Beer Kit

Muntons Connoisseurs Traditional Bitter is a classic English style beer which has a hoppy, rich malty flavour.

Best served around 14°C.  If you follow the beer kit instructions then you will make a Muntons Connoisseurs Traditional Bitter with an approximate strength of 4.5% abv.

This kit will also require one of the following:
a - 1kg of Brewing Sugar (supermarket sugar will work, but it will cause the finished lager to be sweet)
Or
b - 1kg of Beer Enhancer.  A mixture of brewing sugar and light spraymalt.  This will give the finished beer a good body and mouth feel.
Or
c - 1.2kg of Liquid Malt Extract.  This will give the best finished beer with a smooth body, full flavour and good head retention.
Or
d - Use a different flavour of Liquid Malt Extract to further enhance your beer kit and enable you to create your own unique beers.

You will also need basic brewing equipment such as: a 23 litre bucket; syphon; steriliser; thermometer & hydrometer to brew this ingredient kit.  If you do not have any equipment we have a starter package with all the equipment you will need to make this beer.  We also have bottles and barrels for you to store your beer once it has been made.
